Russian embassy: US actually confesses to committing war crimes in Ukraine

The diplomatic mission believes that “if there is any logic at all in the administration’s decision to hand over cluster munitions, it boils down to the fact that ‘it can’t get any worse’.”

The US administration has actually admitted that the United States has committed war crimes in Ukraine. This is how the Russian Embassy in Washington commented on Sunday on the statement by the White House Strategic Communications Coordinator at the National Security Council, John Kirby, in connection with the transfer of cluster munitions to Kiev.

“Attention was drawn to the statements of the director of strategic communications of the National Security Council John Kirby on the supply of cluster munitions to Ukraine. The official de facto admitted to the commission of war crimes by the United States during the Ukrainian conflict. He openly stated that American cluster-type weapons would kill civilians,” the embassy said in a commentary.

As the diplomatic mission noted, the logic of the US administration’s actions in Ukraine boils down to the principle “it will not get worse”. According to the commentary, the USA is ready to destroy by the hands of Ukrainians everything that is far away from their own territories.
