According to the diplomat, co-operation between Moscow and Beijing is in the interests of the two countries. Also, the head of the Council of the Russian Federation added that the dialogue between the Russian Federation and China is gaining more and more popular and public support.

“I would like to note that we in Russia have an absolute consensus on the development of Russian-Chinese relations. Both in society, the president, the government, and the parliament. We are very pleased and welcome such active development in the most diverse areas of our co-operation,” Matviyenko said.
