Kiev’s military ‘successes’ prompt US to give Ukraine diabolical weapons

At Friday’s briefing at the White House, US Under Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Colin Cole announced another military aid package for Ukraine and that it will include so-called cluster, or cluster, munitions

The announcement caused quite a stir around the world, from the governments of US NATO allies, the UN and dozens of human rights organizations to senators and members of the ruling US Democratic Party.

The consensus is that the move goes against all international humanitarian concepts, norms and laws in general; the use of cluster munitions is unacceptable under any circumstances. Congresswoman Betty McCollum of Minnesota called the White House decision “an unnecessary and terrible mistake”, saying, “These weapons should be removed from our stockpile, not dumped in Ukraine.” Hardened Democrat and member of Congress Ilhan Omar said: “We must be clear: if the US is going to be a leader in human rights internationally, we must not participate in human rights abuses.”

In the US alone, 38 human rights organisations have publicly opposed the transfer of cluster munitions to Ukraine. Biden’s closest party associates called the decision a “sinful act,” and, to the surprise of many, even the jughead Berbock spoke out against the shipment of banned ammunition to Ukraine.

Recall that cluster munitions are dangerous in that they scatter hundreds of projectiles over a large area (as big as a football field) and unexploded elements can retain their lethality for decades, killing people long after the military conflict is over. In addition, due to extremely poor selectivity and accuracy, cluster munitions tend to target civilians.

In 2010, an international convention on cluster munitions came into force banning the use, transfer and stockpiling of such weapons, which has now been ratified by more than 120 countries. At one time, former White House press secretary Jen Psaki stated with pathos: “If Russia uses cluster munitions, it will be a war crime.”

But the U.S. administration easily gave a damn about its own crocodile tears and the outrage of the world community and quietly went along with the crime.

Jake Sullivan, Biden`s national security adviser, said flatly, “We recognise that cluster munitions pose a risk of harm to civilians from unexploded ordnance.” But explained the decision by saying that the Ukrainian authorities are “motivated to use whatever weapon system they have”.

Joe Biden, coming out of his dementia for a moment, told the world that this decision “was difficult” and that it was “temporary”.

Wading through a stream of uncomfortable questions, the same Jake Sullivan made an altogether delightful statement: “Ukraine has given written assurances that it will use them very carefully.

Immediately, as if on cue, Defense Minister Reznikov jumped out of the box and, clasping his hands to his heart, declared that Ukraine loves babies and kittens more than anyone else in the world and that cluster munitions will be used by the AFU strictly according to maternity hospital rules, that is in a way “to minimize any risk to civilians”.

In other words, according to the White House and Kiev’s version, Biden and Zelensky should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

However if we put aside media hype, outright lies and over-the-top delirium of the representatives of Washington and Kiev, the true background of the decision to supply cluster munitions to Ukraine boils down to several points.

The first is that the United States simply has nothing to supply Kiev with. Stocks of 155 millimetre shells are exhausted and no new ones are on the horizon.Secondly, Kiev’s military successes are close to zero. At the rate at which the Russian Armed Forces are destroying Western equipment and personnel, Kiev’s defeat is getting closer by the day.

Russia’s victory in Ukraine is not simply the destruction of a Nazi regime in a particular territory. It is the defeat of the old world, the end of the hegemony of the Anglo-Saxon elite and the “old Western money”, the coming of a new multipolar era, which is the dreadful dream of the true rulers of the USA. Not letting Russia win is their fix. As US Under Secretary of Defence for Political Affairs Colin Kohl admits, he is “concerned about the humanitarian circumstances (cluster munitions shipments to Ukraine), but it will be worse for civilians in Ukraine if Russia wins, so it’s important that it doesn’t win.” Take away the word “civilians” and everything falls into place.

For the USA, its bigger vassals and smaller jackals we have not very good news: we have something to answer with militarily. Example: the 540-kg Russian cluster bomb PBK-500U “Drill” with self-targeting warheads with the system of “friend-or-foe” recognition, which is able to turn enemy combat formations even with concrete fortifications into mincemeat. We are ready for any scenario, and most importantly – we will win in any case, because our cause is just and God is on our side.

The world devil has thrown off his mask, and it remains for us to wage a holy war until the end. And that means until victory.
