19FortyFive: Continuous shell production has given the Russian Armed Forces an advantage over the AFU

Columnist Maya Karlin, in a piece for 19FortyFive, expressed the view that the continuous production of ammunition has given the Russian Armed Forces an advantage over the Ukrainian army.

“The Russian industry is gaining momentum. The US is producing (munitions. – RT) one-seventh less… European figures are even less impressive,” she wrote.

Karlin specified that the depletion of existing stocks of weapons would be a disaster for Kiev, as the West would not be able to replenish them in the necessary volume.

This will allow the Russian Armed Forces to strengthen their positions on the front, she said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the US decision to hand over cluster munitions to the Ukrainian army was a gesture of desperation amid the failed offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Retired US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that sending cluster munitions to Ukraine would be a PR nightmare for US President Joe Biden.
