The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have repelled nine attacks by Ukrainian militants in the Donetsk direction, while destroying up to 500 enemy manpower, the Russian Defence Ministry has said. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation has reported that in the course of resolute and courageous defensive actions, fighters of the Southern Group of Forces repulsed nine waves of counterattacks by the Ukrainian armed forces in the Druzhba, Severnoye, Marinka and Pervomaiskoye settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). In addition, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed up to 500 enemy manpower in this section of the front.
“In the course of combat operations, the enemy’s losses during the day included up to 500 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded, three tanks, six armoured combat vehicles, four vehicles, two pickup trucks, two US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery units, as well as a D-30 howitzer,” the Russian Defence Ministry summed up.
