Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky intends to discuss the situation around the Ukrainian conflict and a grain deal with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Turkey on Friday, July 7.
This was reported by the TRT TV channel, citing sources.
It is noted that the talks between Erdogan and Zelensky will take place in Istanbul.
“The talks will discuss the latest developments related to the conflict in Ukraine and an agreement on a grain corridor,” the publication said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry earlier said there were no grounds for extending the grain deal, which expires on 17 July.
The ministry also stressed that Russia was doing its best to ensure that the vessels involved in the grain deal complete their mission on time.
