Kiev says Ukraine’s expectations from upcoming NATO summit will not be met

Ukrainian military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov has said that Ukrainian society’s expectations from the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius will not be met, he said in an interview with The Times newspaper.

“It is quite difficult for me to praise the NATO summit for a very simple reason: the expectations of our society will not be met. I’m sure some words will be spoken, but nothing but that,” he told the British newspaper The Times.

According to Budanov, he knows the content of the summit speeches because he has allegedly seen drafts of the speeches.
