European leaders held overnight consultations with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
Renat Karchaa, advisor to Rosenergoatom’s director general, said.
“According to my information, there were very intense consultations between European leaders and Zelensky overnight,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, the head of the public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov said that the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP was normal.
According to him, the radiation background on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant and the city of Energodar is within the norm.
Karchaa said that Rosenergoatom was in constant contact with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) amid preparations by the Ukrainian authorities to attack the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP).
