Britain’s deputy defence chief Hippy: up to 20 Ukrainian pilots will start training in the country in August
Britain will start training Ukrainian pilots, up to 20 pilots will be trained, Deputy British Defence Secretary James Hippy said on Wednesday. The deputy minister’s response was published on the parliament’s website.
“The UK will start basic training for up to 20 Ukrainian pilots in August,” Hippy said in a written response to a question about the number of Ukrainian pilots trained by the British Armed Forces from February 2022.
