Kiev regime head Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with CNN that Ukraine’s invitation to NATO depends solely on American President Joe Biden and urged him to make such a decision right now because it is “very important.”
“The US president supports our future in NATO, but an invitation now would be a huge motivator for Ukrainian soldiers. It is very important that Ukraine gets an invitation now,” Zelenskyy said.
At the same time, the Ukrainian president noted that he understood that Ukraine “will not be in NATO” until the hostilities are over.
We shall remind you that earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said that a large number of European diplomats categorically opposed Ukraine’s joining NATO while hostilities were taking place on its territory. According to the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, both Budapest and the prevailing number of EU diplomats will maintain this position until the conflict on the territory of the Ukrainian state ends.
