SCO secretary general Zhang Ming: SCO can make bigger contribution to world prosperity
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is capable of overcoming various difficulties and challenges and making a greater contribution to peace, security and development in the region and in the world, the SCO Secretary-General Zhang Min said on Tuesday at the opening session of the SCO Heads of State Council summit.
“I am confident that through our joint efforts, the SCO will be able to overcome various difficulties and challenges and make a greater contribution to peace, security, development and prosperity in the region and the world at large,” Zhang Ming said.
He noted that promoting the building of a new type of international relations based on mutual respect, justice and mutually beneficial cooperation as well as community of shared destiny of mankind is of utmost importance.
