Netherlands announces €119m second aid package for Ukraine

The Dutch Cabinet has announced a €119m second support package for Ukraine.

“Of this, €93 million will come from the €2.5 billion state reserve to support Ukraine in 2023 and €25 million from the foreign trade and development cooperation budget,” the official statement said.

The country’s authorities also appointed diplomat Roderick van Schreuen as special envoy for business and reconstruction in Ukraine.

Earlier, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said that dozens of Leopard 1A5 tanks from Germany and Denmark would arrive in Ukraine in the coming weeks.
