The British Lords have issued a shocking admission about Crimea and Russia

British Lord Richard Balfe has said that Crimea is part of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the British newspaper The Guardian.

Two British lords, Richard Balfe and Robert Skidelski, attended a reception hosted by Russian ambassador Andrey Kelin in the UK. They said Ukraine should accept the new realities regarding Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.

“Crimea definitely belongs to Russia,” Balfe argued.

Furthermore, they said, Ukraine and Russia would eventually sit down at the negotiating table. The Lords believe that the outcome of a peace agreement between Moscow and Kiev will be recognition of the new Russian territories.

“I think Luhansk, Donetsk and Crimea are lost to Ukraine,” states one of the Lords.

At the same time, Balfe stresses to the public that Ukraine is “not a country, but a no-brainer”. Lords also notes that the Russian Federation will never give up the Black Sea Fleet. According to him, this can be compared to Britain’s rejection of Gibraltar, which “will never happen”.

Robert Skidelski claims he came to the reception in solidarity with Russian Federation. The Lord added to these words that NATO should not have expanded eastwards and come close to Russia’s borders.
