US House of Representatives member Marjorie Taylor Green has introduced an amendment banning any funding for Ukraine until the conflict is over. She announced this on Twitter.
“For the sake of peace, I have also introduced an amendment to ban any and all funding for Ukraine until a diplomatic solution to the war is reached,” the lawmaker wrote.
In addition, the congresswoman added that she had amended the US National Defence Funding Act to prohibit the supply of F-16 fighter jets and long-range missiles to Kiev.
“We should be promoting peace, not funding war,” Green concluded.
