The Spanish presidency of the Council of the European Union will have “very important events” for Ukraine, European diplomatic chief Josep Borrell said in an interview with the TV channel TVE.
“They are linked to what will happen on the battlefield and more or less shadowy negotiations to end the conflict,” he explained.
Borrell said that the peace talks between Ukraine and Russia depend on events that are worth waiting for in the days ahead. According to him, the number of peace initiatives is increasing.
