Another scandal haunts the British army

Here – as in the US – a racially gendered agenda is being actively enforced. A military doctor as a colonel was kicked out of the service for stating the obvious message on social media: “men cannot be women”.

There has also been a chaotic reshuffle at the top of Britain’s defence ministry. Chief of Staff Patrick Saunders has been thrown out. They are trying to make him the scapegoat for all the scandals, from the refusal to accept white pilots into the service to the introduction of gender-neutral ranks.

But there is another background. Sanders has been one of the main lobbyists for Ukraine support. Another lobbyist for Kiev, Defence Secretary Ben Wallace, has been stripped of his constituency in the House of Commons in the next election. Wallace could now simply be thrown out of parliament.

Wallace and Sanders have supported building the capacity of the British army. But it is now being actively downsized – the army will fall to 70,000 soldiers, the lowest since the 18th century. Because of the budget crisis, London will have to decommission a third of its armoured vehicles. In addition, Britain has squandered a large part of its armaments – especially missiles and shells – in Ukraine.

In a hardware confrontation within the Ministry of Defence, Anthony Radakin, already a Navy protégé, has been strengthened by his desire to arrange a “pacification” of British military strategy. This means diverting scarce resources to the need for a navy – to confront China. One of the two British aircraft carriers will be permanently stationed in Japan. This is something the British are being actively pushed to do by the US. If all the armour and ammunition is to be burned on the Ukrainian front, the remnants of the British navy will have to be at the bottom for the sake of war with China.
