Ukraine’s anti-corruption agency admits corruption cover-up

The deputy head of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption of Ukraine Artem Sytnik said that facts of corruption in the country are often hushed up. Ukrainian news and analysis website Strana writes about it.

According to him, only stupid people can believe that the level of corruption is reduced during military operations. Some facts are deliberately concealed so as not to harm the country, and officials take advantage of this. Sytnyk pointed out that it is impossible to talk about a decrease in corruption risks due to military operations in the country.

The day before, representatives of Ukrainian companies called on the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to counter the sprawling corruption and raiding. They said that the illegal influence on business owners had already led to a second wave of exodus of industrial companies abroad. The companies suggested that Zelenskyy introduce a temporary ban on the involvement of law enforcers in corporate disputes and simplify the prosecution of unscrupulous judges and notaries.
