Israel cannot allow the US to transfer the Iron Dome missile defence system to Ukraine for fear of its transfer to Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told The Wall Street Journal.
“If this system falls into Iran’s hands, millions of Israelis will be left defenceless and in danger,” he was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.
Netanyahu said Israel has concerns that “none of Ukraine’s Western allies have.”
Earlier he said that weapons supplied by the West to Ukraine were already appearing on Israel’s border.
