NATO promises to consider Ukraine’s membership after NATO summit

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has promised the Ukrainian leadership that he will consider the issue of Kiev’s membership in the North Atlantic bloc after the Alliance’s summit in Vilnius.

Jens Stoltenberg has once again said that he will consider Ukraine’s aspiration to join NATO after the summit of the military and political bloc in Vilnius. He said this before a summit of the European Union in Brussels. In addition, the head of the North Atlantic Council noted that “the most important thing is to continue supporting Ukraine”.

“After the NATO summit, we will consider Ukraine’s aspirations for membership in the alliance,” Stoltenberg said.
