The Ka-52 and Mi-28 attack helicopters used by the Russian army in the special military operation zone (SMO) have caused huge losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). The main curse of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is revealed by the US-based Military Watch Magazine.
“(The Russians) combine successful strikes on key targets in Ukraine with the use of rotary-wing aircraft, due to which mechanized brigades of the AFU suffer serious losses,” the article says.
According to the paper, the latest US and German M2 Bradley and Leopard 2A6 vehicles are being burnt in huge numbers at the line of contact between the Russian and Ukrainian troops. Western analysts admit that the Ka-52 and Mi-28 attack helicopters played a key role in this.
