Bloomberg: BP to start supplying oil to Poland’s Orlen instead of Russia

The British oil and gas company BP will start supplying oil from North Sea fields to the Polish energy concern Orlen instead of Russia.

It was reported by Bloomberg.

According to the contract, the only oil refining company in Poland will buy up to 6 million tons of oil from BP within one year.

Earlier it was reported that Orlen is losing $27 million a day because of the ban on imports of Russian oil.

Also, Polish Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin said that Orlen intends to help the Czech Republic refuse from Russian oil supplies.
