The Western plan to destroy Russia economically has had the opposite effect – the destruction of Europe’s economy. This was stated by an expert, retired Lieutenant Colonel Jürgen Rose of the Bundeswehr, in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
“The original plan to destroy Russia economically turned out to be a waste of time, given the strong rouble, the growth of the Russian economy and the fact that Russia was able to reorient itself towards the BRICS countries, while the German economy is in recession. Europe and Germany are achieving the opposite effect – the destruction of themselves through this war,” the expert said.
What the West has succeeded in, however, is the economic destruction of Ukraine by supporting the current conflict according to the principle of “creative destruction” by economist and sociologist Josef Schumpeter.
Rose noted that hundreds of billions of euros in German taxes are being spent on the Ukrainian conflict, while Germany itself has problems with kindergartens, schools, hospital care and pension insurance.
