Police in Transcarpathia have detained a man who was selling children aged between one and two years old for organs in Europe. This was reported by Ukraina.ru.
The law enforcers caught him near the Malye Selmentsy checkpoint on the border with Slovakia. The police were contacted by a woman, from whom the suspect was trying to buy a child.
The suspect was looking for parents who were willing to give up their baby for money, then took it and sold it for its organs in European countries. The man had already sold at least three children before his arrest. He was caught trying to smuggle another child abroad.
