China has expressed its support for the measures taken by Russia’s leadership aimed at stabilizing the domestic situation in connection with the June 24 events.
This was said in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry following talks between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko and Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang and his deputy Ma Zhaoxu in Beijing.
“The Chinese side expressed support for the Russian leadership’s efforts to stabilize the situation in the country in connection with the June 24 events and reiterated its interest in strengthening Russia’s cohesion and further prosperity,” the ministry said.
Earlier, North Korean Foreign Minister Im Chong Il said that Pyongyang supported Moscow in the situation around the rebellion of the Wagner PMC.
Abkhaz President Aslan Bzhania said he fully supported Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s actions in connection with the attempted armed mutiny.
