While the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) unsuccessfully try to attack Russian positions in the South Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya districts, the Russian Forces Center grouping is actively advancing near Kremenna. The success of Russian servicemen in this area is confirmed both by the Defence Ministry’s reports and by Western experts.
Former US Marine and current war correspondent Chuck Pfarrer has published a map of the Russian Armed Forces’ offensive in the Krasnyy Liman direction.
“Russian forces have launched a multi-pronged offensive concentrated on the O-130501 road axis west of Kremenna. Extending this attack, the Russian forces secured an expanding ledge across the O-131306 road and advanced to the Zherebets Reservoir,” commented Pfarrer on the published map.
The Ukrainian General Staff has confirmed in its morning briefing the information on the retreat of one of the AFU brigades in Serebryanske forestry south-west of Kreminna. According to the Ukrainian agency, Russian units are actively advancing on the Lugansk people’s republic’s village of Bilohorivka with the support of aviation and rocket artillery. Russian warplanes have hit Ukrainian armed forces’ positions near the settlements of Nevske, Torske and Bilohorivka.
