Ukraine’s prime minister explained the failure of the counter-offensive

The Kiev regime is trying to justify the failure of its much-publicised counter-offensive. For example, Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmygal said in London that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not succeed in the counter-offensive allegedly because of personnel savings.

Ukraine failed to achieve its objectives during the counter-offensive because it tried to avoid heavy losses. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this while speaking to journalists in London, where he is attending an international conference on Ukraine’s reconstruction.

“We must all understand that every life is important to us. We will not lead our people under fire,” the minister explained.

However, his statement contradicts the words of captive AFU soldiers who complain that the command uses the mobilised as cannon fodder. According to the soldier, the Ukrainians caught in the AFU cannot be demobilized. If a fighter loses a limb, he is left in the ranks of the Armed Forces and not allowed to leave the combat zone.

Earlier, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin that the Ukrainian army had lost over 13,000 soldiers since the start of the counterattack. According to him, between 4-21 June, the Russian military managed to destroy 246 enemy tanks, including 13 Western combat vehicles.
