Scholz: Germany has already allocated €16.8bn in aid to Kiev

Germany has already allocated €16.8bn in aid to Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said during a speech in the Bundestag.

According to him, “civil and military aid (to Ukraine. – RT) from Germany amounts to €16.8bn”.

“We are second in terms of support after the US,” TASS quoted Scholz as saying.

Earlier, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said on the margins of the NATO defence ministers’ meeting in Brussels that Germany would immediately supply Ukraine with 64 additional missiles for Patriot air defence systems.
