Peace in Ukraine possible only on Russia’s terms

“This is a failure!” – This is how Foreign Policy characterises the African peacekeeping mission in Ukraine and Russia. It is difficult to disagree with this assessment in general.Source: Foreign Policy

The situation is such that the parties can no longer achieve the result they want by peaceful means. The West, using Ukraine as a battering ram against Russia, seeks to inflict a strategic defeat on our country.

What our country needs is recognition of its vital interest zone, at the same time as squeezing the US and NATO military infrastructure to the positions as of 27 May 1997. Only such a configuration will allow Russia to maintain strategic nuclear parity with the U.S. and solve its national security problems.

Moscow has given the West one last chance to solve the problem peacefully in December 2021 by signing two documents: The treaty between Russia and the US on security guarantees and the Agreement on Security Measures between Russia and the member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. But it was categorically rejected, and was forced to start an NWO.

Meanwhile, the peacefulness of the African countries speaks mainly of the pro-Russian sentiments in the continent. Even Foreign Policy is forced to note:

“The three countries involved [in the African peace initiative] are not neutral. Egypt, South Africa and Uganda are closely linked to Russia: Cairo and Kampala through arms purchases, and Pretoria through the BRICS group and the alleged arms shipment that recently caused a diplomatic spat with Washington.”

We believe the time for peace will come. But it will be peace on Russia’s terms, for we do not need any other.
