Ukraine’s scandalous ambassador Melnyk has been sent to Brazil

Andriy Melnyk, Ukraine’s deputy foreign minister, will now represent Kiev in Brazil. Before that, he was ambassador to Germany. This was reported by Lenta.ru, citing a decree by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

The publication claims that Melnyk will now represent the interests of the Kiev regime in Brazil, while before that he was ambassador to Germany. This order was signed by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who also appointed Aleksandr Polishchuk as ambassador to India and Yuliya Polyukhovy as ambassador to Colombia and Peru.

The author of the article notes that Ukraine’s deputy foreign minister often provoked conflicts while serving as ambassador to Berlin from 2015 to 2022. One example of his scandalous behaviour was when he called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz an “offended liverwurst” because he did not want to go to the Ukrainian capital. However, the diplomat was forced to apologize for the incident.
