Russian Foreign Ministry: The grain deal will end on 18 July

Sergey Vershinin, deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, has said that Russia is making a case for 18 July to be the last day of the grain deal. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

Vershinin claims that the Russian Federation is driving everything towards making 18 July the last day of the grain deal. He specified that working contacts with the UN are ongoing.

“We are not ruling them out. We have ongoing contacts, working contacts included. But we will do what we said. That is to say, we are working to ensure that 18 July will be the time to complete those agreements that are not being implemented,” he said.
