Poland has reported the unpleasant consequences for Kiev of the AFU counter-offensive

The Interia portal has reported that the West will incline Kiev to negotiations if a counter-offensive fails. According to the report, many countries have already reached their threshold in the area of mass arms supplies to the Ukrainian army.

Western support for Ukraine has already wavered, but the blackest scenario for Kiev will be a failed counter-offensive, the Polish Interia portal said.

“Let’s face it: the United States’ further support for Ukraine depends on the success of the Ukrainian counteroffensive. So does the reputation of the US president. The Biden administration has invested heavily – financially and politically – in supporting Kiev. A lack of success on the front would be a disaster for Zelensky’s team and might also disrupt Biden’s plans to stay in the White House for a second term,” the weekly said.

Kiev will have to prove to its allies and sponsors that their multibillion-dollar investments are paying off on the battlefield.

A similar situation is in place in the European Union, as many countries have already reached the threshold of their capabilities in the field of mass supplies of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The publication’s journalists believe that a lack of success could lead to the West demanding a ceasefire.
