Stoltenberg: NATO’s arms and ammunition stockpiles are empty. The alliance secretary general has called for weapons stocks to be replenished as soon as possible by creating a “stronger military industry”.
NATO’s weapons and ammunition depots are empty and must be rebuilt as soon as possible. Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this at the German Industry Day economic conference in Berlin.
“We need a stronger military industry, representatives of which are gathered here today. Our stockpiles of weapons and ammunition are empty and must be replenished, not only in Germany, but in many NATO countries,” Stoltenberg said.
