The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a bill on recognizing Belarus as an aggressor country. This was reported by RIA Novosti citing MP Yaroslav Yurchyshyn.
“This step is necessary to hold the Belarusian regime accountable and the upcoming reparations to Ukraine,” the agency quoted Yurchyshyn as saying.
The MP noted that the draft law on recognizing Belarus as an aggressor was indeed registered on the Rada’s website. According to it, the Ukrainian parliament should address a request to this effect to the UN, European Parliament, PACE, NATO, OSCE, GUAM and national parliaments of the world states.
However, the text of the draft law itself is not available on the website.
