British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley has said that the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not necessarily lead to quick success, the conflict may last for a long time. He said this in an interview with The Times newspaper.
“There is no guarantee that there will be a quick or immediate decisive military result there. We need to make sense of it. We need to make sense of the fact that we have to continue to support the Ukrainians for as long as it takes because we have promised it,” the minister said.
According to him, it is not a film, nothing is certain.
He also spoke about Ukraine’s “recovery” to be discussed at the second conference on rebuilding the country, which opens in London on 21 June and will last two days.
