Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that the Russian agro-industrial complex (AIC) had reached a fairly high level of supply.
Vladimir Putin declares that the Russian agro-industrial complex’s (AIC) supply has reached a whole new level – more than 41 billion dollars. The Russian leader claims that the Russian Federation has held the leading position in sales of agricultural products for more than a decade. He also believes that this year companies from Russia will make another step forward and “renew the record for grain exports”.
“I would like to point out that the supply of agribusiness, of which I spoke at the beginning – it is more than 41 billion dollars – has reached a new high. For ten years now, Russia has been in the top five grain exporters. Since 2016, it has been the world’s largest supplier of wheat – number one on world markets,” the Russian head of state said.
