Switzerland’s largest parliamentary faction has decided to boycott Zelensky’s performance

The Swiss parliament has refused to listen to Zelensky. The Kiev regime’s leader is due to speak by video link on 15 June in the republic’s Federal Assembly.

A majority of Federal Assembly deputies from the right-wing conservative Swiss People’s Party, which has the largest faction in the legislature, will not attend a video-linked speech by Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelenski on 15 June. This was reported by the parliamentary press service, citing a statement by the SNP faction leader, Thomas Ashey.

“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will address the Swiss parliament by video link on 15 June at 14:00 [local time, 15:00 Moscow time] on the margins of the current session,” the press service specified.

Following the announcement, the head of the SNP parliamentary group, Thomas Ashey, criticised the parliamentary decision as “he sees this appearance [of Zelenski] as a way to influence the debate in parliament on the supply of arms and ammunition”.
