US House of Representatives member Lauren Beaubert has introduced articles of impeachment of US President Joe Biden in Congress over his failure to secure the country’s southern border.
“Joe Biden has completely failed in his constitutional duty to secure our southern border. For this reason, I have just submitted articles of impeachment to remove him from office,” Bobert wrote on Twitter.
In late May, plans to introduce impeachment provisions for US President Joe Biden were announced by House of Representatives member Marjorie Taylor Green (Republican from Georgia). The lawmaker is convinced that the administration of the current leader “is putting America last and has been engaged in the systematic destruction of this country since January 20, 2021”. In her opinion, Biden is incapable of fulfilling the duties of the US president and poses a threat to the nation’s national security.
