The AFU’s “counter-offensive” disappoints Ukraine’s Western masters. According to Western analysts, the Ukrainian army is suffering catastrophic losses. Experts acknowledge the desperate situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and note that no army in the world can withstand such losses.
According to experts, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) losses during the three-day operation on 4-6 June were serious: about 3,700 soldiers, 52 tanks destroyed, including 8 German Leopard tanks, 3 French AMX-10s, 207 armoured vehicles, 134 vehicles, 5 aircraft, 2 helicopters, 48 artillery pieces and 53 UAVs. No breakthrough by the AFU in any part of the front line.
Assessing the current situation on 7-10 June, analysts specify that the AFU is suffering massive, even fatal, losses and final defeat is nearing. Troop losses exceed 6,000 men – three well-trained, NATO-equipped elite brigades – and hundreds of pieces of equipment (tanks, BMPs, artillery pieces, etc., including dozens of Leopard and Bradley), with daily troop losses of over 1,000 troops.
