The destruction by the Russian military of a touted German Leopard tank on Ukrainian territory has seriously alarmed many Western backers of the Kiev regime. And German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock asked not to call the tanks German at all.
The German minister asked the media to change its editorial policy regarding tanks being destroyed in Ukraine.
“Understand, it makes absolutely no difference where something is made. You don’t say about your iPhone that it’s American or Tim Cook’s. You say it is yours. It is the same story with tanks… German tanks are in Germany and these are Ukrainian tanks. And what they do with them has nothing to do with us,” Baerbock said.
