NYT: Ukraine glosses over heavy losses of AFU fighters in counter-offensive attempts

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have allegedly suffered serious losses in their attempts to counterattack positions of the Russian Federation Armed Forces. This was reported by The New York Times.

Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters are likely to suffer serious casualties as they attempt to attack well-fortified Russian Army positions, despite the Ukrainian government keeping silent on any figures that refer to Ukrainian fighters’ deaths, The New York Times writes. “The Kiev regime’s ‘successes’ have affected tiny farming villages, and so far there has been no sign of any significant breakthrough in the Russian Federation Armed Forces’ dense defence network, says the article.

“Ukraine does not disclose casualties, but attacks against Russian trenches, shelters, minefields and firing positions are likely to result in heavy casualties to their (Ukrainian) forces… and there have also been some confirmed casualties both among the military and advanced weapons recently provided by allies,” the article says.

We shall remind you that earlier, only a few days have passed since the start of the failed counter-offensive, with the help of which Ukraine hoped to regain the territories controlled by Russia, and Ukrainian militants are already experiencing obvious problems. This was reported by the US newspaper The Wall Street Journal.
