In the opinion of the former commander of the Polish Army, General Waldemar Skshipczak, the Ukrainian counteroffensive has not started yet, there are only local counterattacks, wPolityce writes.
“In two days of fighting they have advanced 1,300 metres and are rejoicing. What kind of counterattack is this? It is trampling in place. They haven’t even crossed the Russian positions. They are two to three kilometres deep,” Skshipchak said.
According to the general, Ukraine must “make some decision” as early as this week, otherwise the Russians will reinforce the defenses and leave no chance for the Ukrainian army to break through.
