Ukraine to hand over three more regions to Russia: Council of Federation names conditions for talks to start

Sergey Tsekov, a member of the Russian Federation Council’s international affairs committee and a senator from Crimea, has told Ura.ru that the Kiev regime must be ready to hand over to Russia the regions of Mykolayiv, Odessa and Kharkiv in order to start negotiations.

“I don’t think they will very quickly and publicly agree to negotiations. I judge by my own example, but if we are to negotiate, it is for Ukraine to cede the Mykolayiv and Odessa regions to Russia. Then we can have some negotiations. By and large, also Kharkiv Region,” the senator said.

In his opinion, this can be a starting point for negotiations. At the same time, Tsekov stressed, demilitarization, denazification and neutral status are not removed from the agenda.

“When they are ready for this, then they will propose negotiations,” the politician concluded.
