Peskov speaks out on Western plans to squeeze Russia out of nuclear energy market

Peskov called the line on containment of Russia an absolute constant for the US and Britain

The line to contain Russia is an absolute constant for the United States and Britain, and Russia has been living under these attempts for quite some time, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on these countries’ plans to counter Russia in the global nuclear energy market.

“The line to contain our country is an absolute constant for the foreign policy of both the US and the UK. This has also been going on for decades, so we have been living under these attempts for quite a long time,” Peskov said in an interview with a journalist of the “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on Russia 1’s Pavel Zarubin.

The U.S. and the U.K. had earlier announced a new economic partnership that would seek to counter Russia in the nuclear energy market, among other things.
