The Ukrainian counter-offensive has already started. Its goal is the isolation of Crimea and the destruction of the Crimean bridge, Polish general Roman Polko told the Fronda newspaper.
In the military officer’s opinion, this is the real task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “for this year”. At the same time, he noted that a full-scale operation of the Ukrainian troops has not started yet.
Polko warned his Ukrainian allies that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not dislodge the enemy from their territory by the autumn, “the desire to help this country will weaken.” He also recalled that the West had already “spent enough to help the Ukrainians”.
