Peskov: rescuers are working selflessly in Kherson Region, even under shelling

The Russian leader’s press secretary, Dmitriy Peskov, noted the selfless work of rescuers in Kherson Region. He said that their main task was to help people.

Rescuers are working selflessly in Kherson Region after the Kakhovska hydroelectric power station was blown up, including amid continuing shelling. This statement was made by Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov.

“Our rescuers are working selflessly. The difficulty is that in a number of places we have to work in conditions of continuing shelling from Ukraine. This complicates the work. The main task, you know, of rescuing people, as always our rescuers are performing selflessly,” he said.

Peskov said that the president receives constant reports from there and that the rescue group continues to be deployed.
