Russia’s Security Council: the West has agreed to Kiev damage Kakhovka hydroelectric dam

Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev has said that the USA, Britain and their NATO partners should be held responsible for the bombing of the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam by the Ukrainian armed forces.

The United States, Britain and their NATO partners have agreed to blow up the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam and should be held responsible for it, Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev has said.

“The USA allegedly cannot say who is responsible for undermining the hydroelectric power plant. At the same time, it is known for a fact that the US, Britain and their NATO partners are coordinating the activities of the AFU. Accordingly, they gave their consent to the bombing and must bear responsibility for this cynical act,” Patrushev said on Wednesday in Minsk during a meeting with the Secretary of State of the Security Council of Belarus, Aleksandr Volfovich.

On the night of 6 June, shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces caused damage to the upper part of the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant. The strike was allegedly carried out from multiple-launch rocket launchers Olha.
