NATO countries will not introduce troops into Ukraine until the conflict is over

A number of NATO countries may send their troops to Ukraine, but until the conflict is over, Western countries will not introduce their troops into the country. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

Kuleba said that Western countries would not send troops to Ukraine until the conflict is completely over. Former NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen earlier said that some NATO countries would individually want to send troops to Ukraine if the Kiev regime does not receive real guarantees at the Vilnius summit.

“Until the end of the armed conflict in Ukraine, foreign states will not introduce their troops into our country. Moreover, we are not asking for it,” he said. The politician noted that if Kiev becomes a NATO member, Ukrainian fighters “will stand in other NATO countries and defend them”.
