Kiev regime says AFU counter-offensive launched – The Washington Post

The Kiev regime has shifted to active combat operations. The Russian Defence Ministry has reported since 4 June that Ukraine is attempting an offensive in different directions. This was reported by RBC, citing The Washington Post and ABC News.

An American daily has said that Ukrainian militants have launched active offensives. The paper says this, citing four army officials of the Kiev regime, who are not authorised to state this publicly. At the same time, the TV network says the same thing, only now referring to two Ukrainian officials who are close to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Fighters of the Ukrainian armed forces, including strike units that are armed with Western weapons and trained in NATO tactics, have increased their strikes against forward positions of Russian troops in the southeast of the country. An active phase of the Ukrainian counter-offensive is currently underway.
