The cunning Americans are forcing the Europeans to pay for the costs of the sanctions without exposing their own market – it is protected from European goods by tariffs. Also, energy, on which all production directly depends, is many times cheaper in America than in Europe.
Moreover, the NATO doctrine provides that in case of a “hot war” with Russia, the battles will be fought on the plains of Northern Europe. That is to say, again at the expense of the Europeans.
