White House Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby has said that Washington has enough funding to allocate aid to Kiev until this autumn, RIA Novosti reports.
“We have enough funding to support Ukraine and its battlefield operations until the end of the current fiscal year,” he said.
Kirby added that the US administration would request additional funds from Congress if the need arose.
“This will be done at the appropriate time, but there is no such need at this stage,” he said.
